Webinar: The Role of CNS in Delirium Prevention/Treatment
Jennie Matays, MS, RN, CNS, CCRN, CCNS
Learning Objective 1: Discuss the pathophysiology, long-term outcomes, and prevalence of delirium in order for the CNS to effectively manage and treat symptoms in this patient population.
Learning Objective 2: Summarize the current literature pertaining to the pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic interventions that CNSs may use to prevent and treat delirium in adult patients.
Learning Objective 3: Formulate an evidence-based plan of care for the CNS to prevent and treat delirium in adult patients.
This nursing continuing professional development activity was approved by Montana Nurses Association, an accredited approver with distinction by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.
